Backyard Haven
Over time, floods had ravaged the large backyard of this older home near the city. Very little remained in the way of plantings (with the exception of some lovely, mature trees) and there was essentially a blank canvas in terms of design and structure.
A special family event was the impetus for beginning the renovation that brought new woodland and service paths, formal areas with urns and fountains, and places for treasured, pass-along plants. A variety of new plantings add interest and diversity to the now-inviting outdoor space.
