Cottage Garden
To create privacy and enliven the small, squared-off lot of this inviting cottage-style home, we designed dense borders of water-conserving trees and shrubs, mixed with a richly-textured variety of succulents, herbs, and perennials. Non-traditional foundation plantings and grassy pathways unite front and backyard spaces and invite people, pets, and wildlife to "stay a spell."
